The Forest City softball team defeated West Hancock 7-2 Friday night in North Iowa Conference action. In a game heard on B103.1, the Indians got 3 hits from Lydia Schwartz, and two hits apiece from Halle Johnson and Autumn Busta. Busta picked up the win in the circle, allowing just 4 hits and striking out 7. Other Friday softball scores:

Against Clear Lake, the Indians got 3 hits from Liz Springer, Lydia Schwartz, Halle Johnson, and Sarah Nordskog, while Madeline Slater picked up the win in the circle, striking out 4.
