The first day of the Tree Town Festival began as concerts of this magnitude usually do when all the planning is done correctly, without a hitch. Security kept a close eye on the patrons while ambulatory crews managed minor emergencies. Traffic was a minor problem, but the Forest City Police were able to successfully guide festival goers to the proper parking locations with minor difficulties. For the most part, busses ran on schedule to and from parking locations.
Vendors reported good sales with beer, water, and soft drinks leading the way. There were some minor delays in shows beginning on time, but fans didn’t seem to mind.
