The Forest City Boys track team finished 3rd at the Hampton Relays Friday night, scoring 94 points. Hudson won the meet with 113, Charles City had 102. For the Indians, Grant Lehmann won the high jump, clearing 6 feet 3 inches, Tyler Putney won the shot put with a toss of 45 feet, 11.5 inches. Chad Ullmann finished 2nd in the 800 and 1600 meter runs, and the Indians won the 4×800 and Distance Medley relays. The Forest City Girls track team finished 7th with 60 points. Hudson won the meet with 124 points, Charles City was 2nd with 117.5. For the Indians, Rachel Koch won the 400 hurdles, and the 4×800 meter relay team of Koch, Lydia Schwartz, Maggie Mathiasen, and Emily Koch won in 10:39.83.
The Forest City golf team fell to Garner-Hayfield/Ventura by 2 strokes Friday night. The Cardinals shot 183, while the Indians carded a 185. Andrew Rust was medalist for the Indians, shooting a 41. Dan Melby added a 45.

Saturday, the Forest City Boys finished 5th at the West Hancock tournament, shooting a 357. Andrew Rust and Daniel Melby each carded 82’s. Clarion-Goldfield won the meet with a 312, Lake Mills was 2nd with 325, Garner-Hayfield/Ventura shot 346, Eagle Grove had 346, Belmond-Klemme 359, and West Hancock 420.
