The Worth County Development Corporation has recently awarded the City of Joice a grant which will aid in the purchasing of a new water filtration system. Joice Mayor Mark Thoma explains:
The city is working with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources to make sure that the upgrade is compliant with their standards. KIOW News asked if the city was working against a mandated timetable as has been found in some other Iowa cities and towns:
