Hancock County Supervisors discuss health insurance plan, social services kick-back & drainage (Audio)

The Hancock County Board of Supervisors met in adjourned session Monday with continued discussion regarding membership in the Iowa Governmental Health Care Plan Group and their Wellmark healthcare coverage.  Supervisor Jerry Tlach tells why this has become a major issue.

The Hancock County Board of Supervisors will discuss the Wellmark group health insurance issue further during next week’s meeting.

The Hancock County Supervisors considered Maximus’ certification of the county’s cost allocation plan for expenditures for fiscal year 2013.  Tlach tells how this involves getting money back for social services.

The Hancock County Supervisors accepted the certification presented by Maximus.

The Hancock County Board of Supervisors also considered bids for repairs to Drainage District #13 Lateral 7b.  Tlach explains.

The next regular Hancock County Board of Supervisors meeting will be held Monday, May 5th at 8am.
