The Forest City boys track team won their Indian Relays on Friday night, scoring 203 points. For the Indians, Grant Lehmann won the high jump, 400 and 400 hurdles, Chad Ullmann won the 800, 1600, and 3200 meter runs, Collin Hertzer won the 110 high hurdles, the Shuttle Hurdle, 4×200, and 4×800 relays also won.  Lake Mills was 2nd with 105 points. The Bulldogs got titles from Noah Irons in the discus, and the 4×100 meter relay team. Clear Lake was 3rd with 87 points, West Hancock was 4th with 82 points, Clarion-Goldfield scored 59, and Belmond-Klemme 58.  Korby Sander of Belmond-Klemme won the 200 meter dash.


The Forest City girls track team ran at the Estherville-Lincoln Central meet Friday night. Ali Peterson led the Indians with a 2nd place finish in the shot put, the 4×400 meter relay team of Rachel Koch, Emily Koch, Lydia Schwartz, and Maggie Mathiasen finished 2nd, while Rachel Koch finished 3rd in the 400 hurdles, Molly Lewison finished 3rd in the 100 hurdles, and the shuttle hurdle, distance medley, and 4×800 meter relay teams also finished 3rd.


The Forest City boys golf team defeated Osage and North Iowa Friday in Forest City. The Indians shot 193, led by medalist Andrew Rust’s 43. Osage shot 203, while North Iowa shot 221, led by runnerup medalist Taylor Osterman’s 46.  Other boys golf scores:

The Garner-Hayfield/Ventura girls soccer team defeated CAL/Hampton-Dumont/Belmond-Klemme 10-0 Friday night, as Emily Spilman scored 5 goals and had an assist, while Hannah Lau added 2 goals.  The GHV boys soccer team tied CAL/HD/BK 2-2. Shawn Murphy and Teddy Zrostlik had goals for the Cardinals.
