The Hancock County Board of Supervisors met in adjourned session Monday with a busy agenda beginning with consideration of an addendum for the county’s health insurance carrier Wellmark. Supervisor Jerry Tlach explains.
The Hancock County Supervisors reviewed quotes for half ton secondary road pickup trucks, but decided to postpone that discussion until next week so they could consider additional quotes for three quarter ton pickups.
In other business: the Hancock County Board of Supervisors met with the Winnebago County Supervisors in Forest City to discuss joint drainage district 25-27, which is the drainage district on the south side of Forest City around Winnebago and 3M. The first item on the agenda was to consider bid quotes for repairs, according to Tlach.
The Hancock County Supervisors approved the appraiser’s report for the joint drainage district’s open ditch right-of-way. Tlach explains.
Tlach says the Hancock County Board of Supervisors also accepted the annexation report for the joint drainage district.
The Annexation Hearing will be held Monday, June 16th at 11am in the Hancock County Supervisors Boardroom in Garner. The next regular Hancock County Board of Supervisors meeting will be held Monday, April 21st at 9am.
