Iowa Man Pleads Not Guilty in Apartment Shooting

A Cedar Rapids man has pleaded not guilty in connection to an Iowa City apartment shooting that seriously injured one woman.

Gage Rupp filed the written plea Thursday to felony charges of intimidation with a dangerous weapon and reckless use of a firearm.

The 19-year-old is one of four men accused of firing more than a dozen shots inside and outside the Pheasant Ridge Apartments complex on March 7th.

Police say a woman inside the complex was paralyzed when a bullet hit her in the spine.

Another man in the case, 20-year-old Devasier Cungtion, has been arrested and faces similar charges. Authorities are still looking for the other two suspects.

Court records do not list attorneys for Rupp or Cungtion.
