Hancock County Board to Meet Monday

A busy schedule awaits the Hancock County Board of Supervisors on Monday. The board will first look into signing addendums for the health care plan for the county. They will look at rates for the dates between May 1st and June 30th, then from July 1st to June 30th of 2015. Along with the discussion will be looking into having a Designated Security Coordinator for Hancock County.

The board will hear from Pat Gorman on sidewalk replacement to be followed by discussion on secondary road pickup truck quotes. The board will hear from the county engineer on permits for overhead utility construction for Interstate Power and Light to replace poles at 250th street east of Kent Avenue. They will also look at poles from James Avenue north of 9th Avenue, and from Britt and Ladd Avenues north of U. S. Highway 18 and Oak Avenue south of 300th Street.

Drainage issue will close out the meeting for the day as they will work on bid quotes on the Joint Drainage #25-27 and possible annexation of the location.
