Area Researcher Needs Data on Volunteerism

Volunteering

Each of us has at one point and time volunteered for a cause or an effort to help someone or something. Statisically, more volunteerism is done in the rural setting than in the urban areas. What is very interesting is that researchers don’t know much about the rural volunteer. Professor Jeff Bolinger wants to change that through several criteria that are needed for his research.

He is asking for help from area volunteers:

It is hoped that by providing these answers to the general make-up of volunteers in the area, a better understanding of what makes the efforts as successful as they are could maybe be applied to urban and other settings.

Anyone who is interested should contact Jeff Bolinger at (641) 455-2896 to arrange an interview.
