Area To See Retirements of Prominent Government Workers

The City of Forest City and Winnebago County will be saying farewell to two great employees today. First, Paul Boock will be retiring from his City Clerk position at Forest City Hall. Boock has been with the city for over three decades and is looking forward to retiring. Earlier this week, he wished all a big thank you for the time he has been with the city. There will be a farewell celebration in his honor at 2pm and going until 4pm in the City Council Chambers at City Hall. All are welcome.

Secondly, at the Winnebago County Courthouse, Barb Lovick has worked nearly as long as Boock. She, along with Lowell Ouverson will be honored at a retirement open house also from 2pm to 4pm at the Winnebago County Courthouse. Lovick who is the County Clerk, will have her reception at the County Clerks Office. Ouverson’s will be at the County Assessors Office. The public is welcome to attend both receptions.
