It took 40 minutes, but Lake Mills finally defeated Rockford 76-68 in double overtime in 1A boys basketball. Granger Kingland hit a game tying 3 pointer to send the game to a 2nd overtime.  Hunter Kingland led the way with 25, while Paul Pins added 13, Granger 12, and Josh Peters 11.  The Belmond-Klemme Broncos won their district semifinal over Bishop Garrigan 70-55, as Colin Lane had 24, Court Christianson 15, and Elijah Kinseth 13.  The Broncos and Bulldogs play a rubber match in the district final tomorrow night in Garner. The Osage Green Devils fell to Number 2 New Hampton in a Class 2A District final in Clear Lake 73-61.  Trevor Haaland led the way with 23 points on 9 of 29 shooting, while Tyler Friesen added 20.
