The Forest City boys basketball team moved their record to 8-0 in the NIC with an 84-63 win over Newman Catholic Tuesday night. Erich Erdman led the way with 31 as Forest City shot 53 percent from the floor. Isaiah Loeschen added 16 points and Jordan True 10.  Other Tuesday boys basketball scores:

The Forest City girls basketball team defeated Newman Catholic 58-44 Tuesday night.  The Indians fell behind 13-0 after the first 6 minutes of play, but used a 20-1 run to get back into the game.  Sarri Happel had 18 points to lead the Indians, while Maggie Mathiasen had 13.  Other girls basketball scores:

The Lake Mills wrestling team fell to Osage and Algona in a triangular Tuesday night in Osage. The host Green Devils defeated the Bulldogs 58-15, while Algona High defeated Lake Mills 48-24.  Other wrestling scores:
