Hancock County Supervisors discuss budgets, funding requests and software update

THE HANCOCK COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MET IN ADJOURNED SESSION MONDAY WITH A BUSY AGENDA FOCUSED ON 2014 BUDGETS, FUNDING REQUESTS, AND A SOFTWARE UPDATE FOR THE COURTHOUSE.  SUPERVISOR JERRY TLACH SAYS PART OF THE BUDGET DISCUSSION INVOLVED THE EMA SHARING AGREEMENT WITH WINNEBAGO COUNTY.

THE HANCOCK COUNTY SUPERVISORS RECEIVED A FUNDING REQUEST FOR $2,800 FROM HEALTHY HARVEST OF NORTH IOWA, IN WHICH FARMERS MARKET GROWERS SELL FOOD PRIVATELY TO PEOPLE OR GROCERY STORES.  THE SUPERVISORS WILL MAKE A DECISION WHEN THEY FINALIZE THE BUDGET FOR 2014-2015.

THE HANCOCK COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS ALSO DISCUSSED THE PROBABILITY OF UPDATING THEIR SOFTWARE WITH TYLER TECHNOLOGIES.  SUPERVISOR TLACH EXPLAINS.
