A dense fog advisory is in effect for the listening area until 3pm. some reports are that fog is limiting visability to around 100 feet. The fog is part of a strong cold front that is moving through the area today and will drop temperatures dramatically tonight and tomorrow. USDA Meteorologist Brad Rippey says that if you are traveling, be careful.
The forecast highs for tomorrow and through Saturday are not expected to get above the single digits while wind chill factors are not expected to rise above zero. In some cases, especially at night, wind chills may get as far down as -20 with strong northeast winds pummeling the area.
