A civil suit between Kim Koenig and the Worth County Development Authority has been dismissed with prejudice. Koenig served as the WCDA Director for almost nine years beginning in September of 2003 and ending in June of 2012. She alleges that there was retaliation in violation of public policy, a hostile work environment, sexual harassment which in turn led to infliction of emotional distress, and other circumstances.
With the dismissal with prejudice, the lawsuit cannot be brought back before a court or even filed listing the same claims or basing them on the claims brought before the court. Roxanne Conlin, who serves as Koenig’s attorney, felt that the case was resolved satisfactorily. she would not comment on how the case came to that resolution and neither would other parties to the case which included the WCDA. They would reveal that the resolution was very favorable to the WCDA.
The suit was filed in Worth County District Court. According to records filed with the court, the case was officially dismissed on November 14th.
