The Belmond-Klemme High School Spanish classes in cooperation with the LifeServe Blood Center are sponsoring a blood drive on Monday between 8:30am and 2pm at the Belmond-Klemme High School. There is an added incentive for Belmond-Klemme School District residents to take part in the event.
LifeServe Blood Center is putting up a $500 scholarship for one of five school districts who are competing for the money. The school that collects the most blood, wins the scholarship.
Any who are interested should contact the school district and make an appointment, however walk-ins are welcome.
